1. Product Description
This instrument is designed by integrating the advantages of domestic and foreign similar instruments. It has an elegant and practical appearance, and is easy to operate. The microcomputer system adopts two counting methods, which are intuitive and elegant, easy to set, and allows four working positions to conduct tests simultaneously, thereby improving the test efficiency. The instrument also features two Lissajous motion trajectories of 24mm×24mm and 60.5mm×60.5mm, as well as various accessory attachments, which can adapt to various test methods and standards.
This instrument is applicable for the test of fabric pilling and balling degree as per GB/T4802.2, ASTM D4970, ISO12945-2, etc. Its principle is under a given pressure, a circular sample and a fabric of the same material move in Lissajous graphic motion trajectories for friction. After reaching the specified revolutions, the grade of pilling and balling of the sample is evaluated. It is also applicable for the wear resistance test of fabrics as per GB/T13775, ASTM D4966, ISO12947, etc. Its principle is under a certain pressure, a circular fabric sample is mutually rubbed with standard abrasive according to the Lissajous curve motion trajectory, causing the sample to be damaged. The wear resistance of the fabric is indicated by the number of times the sample is damaged.
